By mid-2007, Maiden had flogged A Matter of Life and Death all over (most) of the world. With the usual plethora of mid-year festivals coming up to complete, the band decided on a change of tact. Retaining half of the setlist they had been using for most of the previous two months, they then added a couple of extra songs from The Number Of The Beast and called it a 'celebration' of 25 years since that album's release. In essence, the gig contained mostly songs from those two albums.
This bootleg is A- quality, and while are still at the top of their form, we've heard most of the early songs a thousand times (c'mon - why not "Invaders" or "Ganglands", just for a change?!), and the later songs were done better when they played the whole album live in previous gigs.
Rating: If you were to go to a Maiden gig and see only these songs, you'd be disappointed. 4/5.
